HeliSkiing
Opens December 28, 2024
6 Run Heli Day will be available 4 days a week during Mountain Operations, Thursday to Sunday, from December 28th, 2024 through March 16th, 2025.
Single Run will be available 4 days a week during Mountain Operations through March 30th.
Private Heli is available 7 days a week, including Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday, from December 28th through March 31st.
Guided Season
December 28, 2024 – March 9, 2025
- Thursdays- Sundays + the Monday of Presidents’ Day, February 17, 2025
- Lift starts running at 9 am.
- Guided skiers should arrive at the base area by 8:15 am.
- Avalanche beacons, shovels and probes are needed to ski.
- Rentals are available at the mountain.
- Liability releases are mandatory for anyone who wishes to participate.
Unguided Season
March 13 – April 13, 2025
Guided skiers are allowed beyond the boundaries to certain areas of the mountain during the unguided season on a daily basis, as per BLM safety regulations. These areas are constantly shifting around the mountain based on snow safety with loads of great terrain for both.
- Heli is operational Thurs-Sun through March 30th.
- Unguided skiers can arrive whenever during the unguided season, the ticket tent opens at 8:00 am.
- Guided skiing is still available during unguided season
Private Mountain
Available starting December 1, 2024
Did you know that you can rent out Silverton Mountain? It’s a great opportunity for charity fundraisers, photo shoots, product testing/R&D, bachelor and bachelorette parties, or corporate events. Available just in time for your holiday parties!
