Guest Services Associate

Come join the rad team making it all happen at the ski area! The primary responsibility of the Guest Services Associate is to provide professional, friendly and efficient customer service in Silverton Mountain’s base area tent facility.  This includes serving as the point of contact for guest morning check in and ticketing, selling F&B and retail products throughout the day, restocking inventory, and maintaining the organization and cleanliness of the Base Area Tent interior.  This is a full time seasonal position, best suited to reliable and friendly team players. Web Services Developer

Lift Operations

Silverton Mountain is currently seeking a chairlift operator for the 2016/2017 season. Past experience operating machinery and/or a chairlift preferred. Opportunities to advance, develop lift maintenance abilities, and hone mechanical operations skills are just one of the many perks of this job. Working outside in all types of conditions as well as completing physical tasks are both requirements to work in lift operations. Operators are required to document daily inspections of the lifts and have adequate knowledge of the applicable lift equipment. In addition, an operator may be asked to perform other duties as assigned. Applicants need to be able to legally work in the USA and be fully committed to this job from December 2016 to April 2017.  This is a full time seasonal job that will start in December 2016. Ski/Snowboard Guides/Patrol

Qualified guides/patrol with at least 4 years pro ski patrol or pro ski guiding experience should submit resumes via email. Seasonal work includes ski guiding, heli guiding, and snow safety duties. Must be exceptionally fit and enjoy working like an ox at altitude while carrying a heavy load.

Astar Mechanic A&P

If you are A&P with AS350 experience, that is also interested in Ski Patrol and Ski Guiding while not doing AP items, this could be for you. Must be a skilled AP and expert skier/boarder.

Snow Intern Position

Currently accepting snow internship applicants for the 2017-2018 season. Requires a full season commitment Dec-April working Thurs-Sun 4 days a week. Internship is unpaid but provides excellent experience in the field of snow. Avalanche level 2 and WFR/OEC required (we offer an opportunity to take a Level 2 class early Dec if needed).
