Guest Services and Event Coordinator Associate

The primary responsibility of the Guest Services Associate is to provide professional, friendly and efficient customer service in Silverton Mountain’s base area tent facility. Guest Service Associate
The primary responsibility of the Guest Services Associate is to provide professional, friendly and efficient customer service in Silverton Mountain’s base area tent facility. This includes serving as the point of contact for guest morning check in and ticketing, selling F&B and retail products throughout the day, restocking inventory, and maintaining the organization and cleanliness of the Base Area Tent interior. Guest service associates may also be required to work on non-operating days at the Silverton Mountain office, performing customer service and/or clerical tasks. The primary objective of this position is to provide exceptional guest service that exceeds expectations.
- Accurate guest check in, waiver collection and ticketing
- Retail and F&B sales
- POS cash and credit card reconciliation
- Answering questions about Silverton Mountain and available products
- Upselling Heli skiing
- Collecting and controlling returned equipment when Demo Bus isn’t staffed
- Cleanliness and organization of Base Tent interior
- Starting wood stove in mornings as necessary
Skills and Qualifications
- Guest service experience
- Cash management experience
- Strong verbal skills
- Outgoing, friendly, team player
- POS expertise and familiarity with computers
- Ability to lift 20-30 pound boxes and other materials
Location and Work Hours
- Seasonal Full time position, based in Silverton, CO from December through early-April
- This job will involve working some nights, holidays, and weekends

Commercial Bus Driver
Silverton Mountain is looking for a CDL Licensed Driver with a Bus Endorsement. It would be a 4/day week position +/- 30 hours. Silverton Mountain is looking for a Lift Operator to monitor the operation of the lift and notify management of any problems or unusual conditions while maintaining a safe work area. This individual must abide by operating procedures, be able to stand outside in inclement weather for long periods of time, lift up to 50lbs, have the ability to make quick decisions regarding safety. Qualified guides/patrol with at least 4 years pro ski patrol or pro ski guiding experience should submit resumes via email. Seasonal work includes ski guiding, heli guiding, and snow safety duties. Snow Intern Position
Currently accepting snow internship applicants for the 2020-2021 season. Requires a full season commitment Dec-April working 4-5 days a week. Internship is unpaid but provides excellent experience in the field of snow. Avalanche Level 2/Pro level 1 and WFR/OEC required.
