Winter Snow Internship
Currently accepting snow internship applicants for the season. Requires a full season commitment Dec-April working 4-5 days a week. Internship is unpaid but provides excellent experience in the field of snow. Avalanche Level 2/Pro level 1 and WFR/OEC required. Guest Services and Rental Equipment Manager
Come join the rad team making it all happen at the ski area! The primary responsibility of the Guest Services Associate is to provide professional, friendly and efficient customer service in Silverton Mountain’s base area tent facility. This includes serving as the point of contact for guest morning check in and ticketing, selling F&B and retail products throughout the day, restocking inventory, and maintaining the organization and cleanliness of the Base Area Tent interior. This position will also work in our Demo Bus, and help to maintain our fleet of rental skis, snowboards, and other rental equipment. Qualified guides/patrol with at least 4 years pro ski patrol or pro ski guiding experience should submit resumes via email. Seasonal work includes ski guiding, heli guiding, and snow safety duties. Silverton Mountain is looking for a CDL Licensed Driver with a Bus Endorsement. It would be a 4/day week position +/- 30 hours at $20-$24 per hr DOE. Silverton Mountain is looking for a Lift Operator to monitor the operation of the lift and notify management of any problems or unusual conditions while maintaining a safe work area. This individual must abide by operating procedures, be able to stand outside in inclement weather for long periods of time, lift up to 50lbs, have the ability to make quick decisions regarding safety. This individual is pivotal to Mountain Operations and guest-facing service. Pay rate $16-$17 per hr DOE. Smiling face and positive demeanor are a must!
