The base area will be taken over by our partner brands demoing skis\, snowboards\, and more with giveaways\, apres and a chance to ski/ride with professional athletes all weekend. Events only open to guests with reservations at the mountain. \nABOUT THE WEEKEND \nDEMOS AND BRANDS \nAt the base area of the mountain\, our brand partners will be out in style. Friday and Saturday from 8:00am – 3:00pm demos and brand tents will be set up. Come demo new skis and snowboards from Armada\, Black Diamond\, Venture and product to check out from The North Face\, CAST\, and Smith Optics. This is the chance to check out future gear\, and chat with our partner brands. \nRIDE WITH PROS \nWe don’t just mean our guides! Athletes and media will be out in full force over the weekend. Take the opportunity to share a chairlift (or better yet a heli run) with professional skiers and snowboarders who will be on the mountain. Bring your A-game and come hang out and make some new friends. You never know who’s gonna show up! \nAPRES AND GIVEAWAYS \nEach day over the weekend\, we’ll be offering up unique giveaways and apres specials to take advantage of. SUMMARY:Womens Big Mountain Weekend 2027
DESCRIPTION:January 15 -17 – The eleventh annual Women’s Big Mountain Weekend at Silverton provides experienced skiers and snowboarders an adventurous weekend for women in the heart of the San Juans. The weekend includes two guided days of skiing at Silverton\, with one heli run. The Women’s Big Mountain Weekend heli run is the perfect gateway into heliskiing and boarding if you’ve never tried it\, or a great way to get your chopper fix. Participants will receive brown bag lunches on Saturday and Sunday\, apres events\, swag bag\, and fun giveaways. Participants are grouped with women of similar ability and motivation. The Silverton Mountain guides help make the mountain’s expansive terrain more accessible and less intimidating by providing big mountain ski tips throughout the weekend. TheWomen’s Big Mountain Camp is for ages 16 and up\, with ability levels of high intermediate or above\, including some experience in variable snow and steep entrances. \nThis Package includes: \n\nIntro party on Friday\, January 15\, 2027\nGuided lift tickets for January 16 & 17\, 2027\nLunch at the mountain for January 16 & 17\, 2027\nOne heli run on Saturday or Sunday (TBD depending on weather)\nAvalanche safety equipment – transceiver/shovel/probe/backpack\nA great way to ski or ride a big mountain with awesome women\nApres-ski\nFun SWAG gift bag!\nWomen’s Western SNOW Down dance party on Saturday night – costumes encouraged!\nAwesome raffle giveaways (skis and snowboard gear!)\n\nHere is the link to share for the Women’s Big Mountain event.
